Where can i get a bow

    i wish to buy a bow for target practice and competions "coz like thats what they were invented for, like ya know."

    where can i buy them? what is the legal status etc....

    If your intrested in archery, go to your nearest club. Then after completing a beginners course your club members will advise you on what to buy.

    OK, lets everyone just chill the hell out. Archery, especially intervarsity archery, is a pretty relaxed scene - we follow the rules to avoid anyone being shot, but other than that we're a friendly bunch of people. The thread was (correctly) locked because bowhunting is indeed illegal, and we do not want this forum linked with such activities. We generally answer questions posed to us in a friendly manner, you just hit a sore spot :)
