Turkey with the wife??

My wife is very good looking, blond etc. Have heard some stories about Turkey and blond foreign women, going beyond the usual staring and comments. Well able to handle the staring etc and sleazy blokes, but it sounds like it's not worth it. Anyone else have first-hand experience? Replies from wives, girlfriends, husbands and boyfriends welcome!

hey kmoon, well my advice isn't very close to what your situation is.but i was in turkey in Bitez last year for 2 weeks with 4 guys, a very relaxed holiday but we got to know a couple of turkish guys working in a hotel over there.I can say that a lot of the turkish guys are sleazy.but not all. i really think its not that far off what you'd experience with irish guys and being sleazy. and i must say that i went on a very relaxed holiday and i really loved it. i'm not really into the package holiday thing, but i LOVED turkey, i'd go back there in the morning. to be honest i wouldnt let the thought of them being sleazy throw you off.it isn't anywhere near bad enough to jepordise a good time.i actually was thinking about going back there with my girlfriend and i wouldnt have any hesitation going with her because of the reasons you stated above.

I've been wondering about this myself as I've heard mixed reports.

I'm heading to Alacati in a couple of months with a friend and her family and she says if we go out at night her stepfather would prefer to 'chaperone' us so we don't get hassle. He's from the area and says while he wouldn't expect anything bad to happen to us, he thinks we might attract unwanted attention if we're alone - from guys in general, not any particular nationality (though neither of us are blonde so maybe we won't get a second look )

I was in Istanbul on a business meeting recently. And there was girl there from Germany at the meeting, she was very tall and pretty. Well I was walking down the street with her at one stage and a guy stopped and asked about a picture and offered his camera to me.. now I thought he was a tourist in the city and wanted me to take his photo, but he wanted his photo taken with the German girl... this just all struck me as being very creepy.

My wife is very goodlooking even at 40 (lucky me) we go there every year she is blond and we love it .
We love it so much we bought a place there last year and she went over there with the kids and i stayed home no prob,s:) over here we have more probs in pubs, nightclubs etc etc.

It depends where you are goiig to and if it is a resort or not.

went there a coupla years ago with my gf. 26, blond (at the time) - once they see you and the wife are together they never start sleazing over them. I'd be more warey if she was going on her own - suppose it depends where you go - I was around kusadasi, and the locals were the friendliest people (and totally not sleazy). Had a total ball.
