    Afternoon all.

    The scenario:

I have an 80cm dish with a siingle LNB and a motor. It is connected to a Strong 6355. Everything works great.

I was given a Lidl camping (SL65) set last week as a thank you and I figure on putting it in the bedroom.

On the back on the strong, there is the lnb in and lnb out. Can I take a feed from the LNB out, run it to the LNB in on the SL65?

The chances of the two receivers ever been on together are very slim as I live alone.

I programmed the SL65 at the weekend with all the channels I wanted from Astra 2/Eurobird. Could I also then program it with hotbird and astra 1 channels and depending on where I left the dish positioned using the Stong, view those channels?

I know I could get pick up a quad LNB and do it that way, but believe it or not, the hole I drilled for the original cable is only big enough for one cable and I really don't want to go up there and do it again.

    Thanks,

    MJ

Assuming you never use both receivers at once, and leave the Strong on standby on the satellite you want, it'll all work. I use the passthrough for what it was intended for (an analogue box) on my setup here, but it does also work with digital kit.

Perfect. I guess I know what I will be doing some night this week!

Some receivers that don't isolate the pass through don't work with a Digibox as in standby it is still asseting 22kHz or High Volts signalling.

I was going to say I would give it a try this weekend, but there is a small matter of the Oxegen festival... Am I getting too old for it yet? Hmmmmm... nope, I don't think so.

Anyway, once I get it setup, I will let you know how good it works.
