my Technics hifi system is about 6 years old, changed the laser about 3 years ago, now when i play cd's they seem sensitive to movement and jump easily when playing. is this a sign that laser needs to get replaced again ?

Maybe cleaning the laser might rectify the problem. Worth a try anyway before replacing it.
