Great stuff, love the colours in the first shot, has to be my favourite. A bit too much black in the last one maybe, otherwise looking good. Thanks for posting.

Good stuff Trev! There's plenty of other good ones too, throw'em up :)

That the Forum last night? Ashley Sheehan and the mute?

Good shots btw, the first three are great, not mad on the last one though. The drummer is kind of lost behind his gear.

Excellent 1 and 4 really stand out. I love the black in the last one I think it really suits it especially with it being a drummer sort of gives the impression on a guy on his own banging out the rythm with no one else around... :)

The first one is great, my favourite of them. the colours are really really strong and you've really caught a great moment.

i like em...great stuff, is that noise added or was that there anyway, works quite well if i do say so

Have to say my fav is the last one, think the black backround works really well. Although the line between him and the backround are very defined, maybe more of a blend/smudge? Like he's getting lost/sucked into it.

It's there anyway due to the high ISO. The photos were shot at 1600 ISO - between 1/60 and 1/100 @ f/4.5 with a Sigma 70-300.

Apart from bumping the saturation (between +15 and +25) and adding a border, the photos are straight from the camera.

The venue has some pretty strong droplights so I was kinda lucky. That helped to kill the backgrounds a lot. Still had to shoot at about 1/80 though. A lot of them were very very soft.
