Was woken up by a garda doing house to house inquiries earlier on, seemed as if there has been an incident in the area but I haven't a clue as to whats going on.

I'm in the John's hill dunmore road area, I don't see evidence of any crime scene and any neighbours I could ask are clueless too. Paddy wagon parked outside all day and gardas doing door to door so it must have been something serious. Know a local taxi driver so I thought he would have heard on the grapevine but the most he could tell me was that there was activity at the courthouse all day (Sunday) fleeced with cop cars.

    anyone hear of anything?

just said something about an incident in the area the night before and wanted to know did I see or hear anything. How many were resident and If anyone arrived or left the house between 12mn and 7 Sunday morning.

Someone told me the town had a bit of agoing over at the weekend with windows and cars being smashed here and there, unless they were looking for folk involved in that.

I saw the guards around the Newtown area going house to house on Sunday also. They would not say what it was about. Unusual for them to exert themselves that much. Must have been serious....
