The wife and I are thinking of going home for a week or so in Sept/Oct or early November and so far the cheapest I have found is with AA at around $973 I think it was. Im not too bothered if its direct or not. Aer Lingus used to do the co-share thing with AA and I was wondering since Aer Lingus left One World, would I be flying with Aer Lingus or with American Airlines aircraft?

Aer Lingus hasn't left Oneworld yet..but it doesn't matter. Both AA and Aer Lingus now do seperate flights from Chicago to Dublin now..so if you're booking with AA, it will probably be the AA flight. The number for the AA operated flight is AA93
