Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has any info on a decent hostel in Bratislava-so far the ones I've seen on hostels.com and hostelworld.com either look pretty crappy, unused university dorms-(having stayed in them before know that you don't end up meeting anybody) or about e15 a night for dorms which seems a bit steep. At the minute i've been looking a campsite on the outskirts of the city, its real cheap but not sure how practical it would be (its Zlate Plesky)
After that heading on to Budapest to the Sziget festival (which I would highly recommend to anyone that wants a week of music, drinking and complete randomness for 110e) last year stayed in the Yellow submarine hostel beforehand was ok and friendly but a bit small and basic (had only one mens shower) so sort of interested in alternatives.
    Thanks

Hi there, i was in Slovakia in February with a group of mates, and we stayed in bratislava for one night. We stayed at the funkiest looking hotel in the city, its called the Hotel Spirit. When we saw the pictures on the net, we said we had to go there, it was so weird looking.. It was so basic inside, you have your bathroom, bed, tv, no mod accessories or anything but it was clean, cheap and central, so it done the job perfectly. i have attached their website, the picture of the place doesn't do it justice, it looks much better when your there( it will be one one the funkiest places you'll ever stay):D
