how to install 2000 pro without floopys

    Im wondering can i install 2000 pro with out using the floppys and using a usb drive instead or some kind of slipstream cd ..The reason i ask is i cant be bothered going out to the shed and pulling through everything looking for 4 floppys as i need to install it now tonight ...any help here will be great

    I've never had to use any floppies when installing 2000. It does give the option of creating an emergency recovery disk, but that's not required.

    sorry your right the one i got is not in english and i noticed the the folder which was "boot disks" which contained 4 isos and a boot.exe and i took it for granted that i did need the floppys but after writing this i gave it a go and its fine .sorry about thats thanks for the fast reply...:o :rolleyes: :eek:
