Hi, myself and 2 friends are going interrailing this month, we're leaving the 26th to amsterdam, working our way in total, but not necessarily in this order to berlin, warsaw, prague, munich, vienna, venice and rome. Phew. I'd love to hear some advice from people who've gone interrailing before. We're gonna be hostelling mostly, and camping in venice, and wherever else the opportunity presents itself. The cheaper the better, leaving plenty of drinking money. :)
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

i went a similar route myself last year just in the opposite direction. First thing to say is that it was the best holiday i've ever been on.

started in venice and the camping was great craic. if you're serious about heavy drinking you should include the likes of Zagreb and budapest. both really cheap, beautiful cities with excellent beers.

avoid slovakia, it was the worst part of our holiday, the hostels were pretty dodgey and it wasn't that interesting a place.

you seem to have a pretty good pick of cities but just remember when you go to places like vienna and amsterdam things are going to be pretty expensive compared to eastern european cities.
