This most likely isnt new to regular users, but its something I have come across yesterday.

I bought a pair of jeans from a seller and when they arrived they werent as described or shown in the pictures, Such as not having pockets on the rear and having a belt covering the 2 tone waist band in the pictures.

I thought this was a little off , so I mailed the seller in a kindly worded message that the jeans werent as described, they replied that they were sorry , but there was nothing they could do.

When it came to feedback, I left a nuteral feedback as I didnt feel it was a smooth transaction due to the missing information in the description and the 2 tone waist band.

Straight away I got an "how dare you" email, which was followed by a negative feedback from the seller.

Now what kind of system is it where I left what I thought was a fair feedback, that instantly I get slapped with a negative feedback ?

The outcome of this was that we both had to withdrawn our feedback !!!!! Whats the point in feedback where you cant say what you feel for retrebution via an instant negative feedback.

Why not leave a comment on his negative feedback to you, explaining your case?

    fúck them.
youre a buyer, what do you care about your feedback.
stick negative feeback to them for it.
If everyone was to do this, ebay would be a much better place.

    god damn feedback blackmail :D

The feedback system is pretty messed up really. Retalatory feedback is common and hardly no-one uses neutral feedback.

I've left a few negs in my time, always justified and always got a stupid neg in return. Will never withdraw though as i'd like to warn others off mental sellers in the future.

    eBay feedback favors the seller.

In fact their entire system favors the seller. :(

I hate those ***** that do not give you feedback back to up your rating.

Also I bought a digibox secondhand, seller said everything is ok on it.
Arrived, plugged it in, found old sky epg software plus it wont read any cards.

He is lucky its only as a FTA box.
