Are there any IT companies in Ireland that are ageist? My friend is in mid thirties and seeking an IT position, what are his chances. His qualifications are excellent and he has over 4 years experience in Windows system administation.

Mid 30s isn't old. Companies will probably be crying out for his experience.

As Stark says someone in their mid 30's isn't old. Most good employers will have knowledge and experience as their primary requirements for a system administrator.

If your friend's CV is in good order he should have no problem getting interviews and following on from them job offers.

Curious why you'd ask the question about a person in their 30's?
