hey i started recently taking the pill MicroLite, and i know this isn't a medical board but i was just wondering if i could get some info from people.
i've kinda been feeling really bloated some days and nauseous. and i've also noticed that i'm having a lot of "spotting" every day. I've been on the pill just under a month and i was just wondering if these symptoms are normal or what other girl's have experienced?
one other thing i wanted to know is, is it safe to go straight from one pack onto the next without having ur period?

Your perscription comes with a leaflet which if you read it actually answers all these questions.

I also Microlite, and have done so for about 5 years. I've personally never experienced any of your symptoms, but then again, everyone is different and will react to the pill differently. It can take a while for your body to adjust to the pill, but if you are seriously concerned about these issues, go straight to your doctor.

You can take two packets of the pill back to back, so as to avoid a period while on holdiay or so on. This is all detailed in the leaflet which comes with the pill. If you did not receive one, call into your chemist straight away and ask for one. The pill is only as effective as it can be when you take it correctly.

I'm on Microlite too. My GP said that because the dose is so low some spotting can be anticipated but it doesn't mean it's effectiveness is compromised in any way. Do you take it at the same time every day?

Very first pill I ever went on I had spotting for three months. I felt uncomfortable, bloated, nauseous - all the symptoms you describe. My university doctor's response was that I should wait it out - I did and the symptoms eventually disappeared.
