    Hi Everyone,

Really good site you have :) and some very nice classics!!

Would anyone know of any 1977-1984 Toyota Dyna BU30 trucks around? I am looking for one to restore.

(They have a column shift gear lever)

I have also attached an image of one for you.

I have a website for them with information and manuals etc...

    The url is: http://toyotadyna.tripod.com/

Also I would be interested in a Toyota Landcruiser BJ40 jeep.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks in advance,
    ToyotaDyna :)

There's a scrapyard down in East Ferry outside Middleton in Co. Cork I'm sure I saw one there. I don't know how good it was. The scrapyard owner is Gerry Horgan, I'll try and get you a phone number if you want.

Yes that is right. And you can get nearly any part for them new! even a whole body shell.

But in the U.S. They have mainly FJ40s, with the F petrol engine. Canada has mainly BJ40s with the B Diesel engine.

The Dyna BU30 has the same engine as the Landcruiser BJ40.

    Thanks for your help :)
Anyone else know of any of these Dynas around?

Hi - no disrespect, and I'm not trolling, but help me out.

    WHY?

What is unique/classic about the Dyna? Sell it to me.

    I ask only to learn.

    Hi ds20prefecture,

Well I just like them! We have always had a few of them so I guess thats why lol :D I like trucks and I have an interest in classic Japaneses vehicles but mostly Toyotas.

I know not many people would want one being a commercial vehicle but every type of vehicle has enthusiasts.

Both of those are cool. I have a soft spot for dodgy old trucks in general, but i always liked older dynas and nissan cabstars, such handy little trucks.
And i've always liked the old landcruisers, i remember when you'd see them around a bit, havnt seen one a a few years now.

I also have a big interest in classic jap metal, nice one on buying/restoring something unusual! Particularly a commercial, thats even rarer again!
To be honest id walk past alot of the usual classics to look at a 70s toyota.:p
