Transferring to UCC?

I'm trying to transfer to UCC from UL after summer into an equivillent course.

There are a few problems -

Accomodation. Won't be able to get on campus at last minute I'm guessing, need to be as close to Campus as possible, with internet access, or at least cheap enough to get my own wireless.

Not sure which year I'll be going into. I had to postpone my exams and I don't know whether I'll pass them or not. I could be transferring itno either 3rd or 4th year.

Could do with some help please, especially if there's anyone who's done this, thanks.

Accommodation usually becomes available after a few months of the college year anyway as some third years go on placement etc. so dont be too worried about that aspect.

Why!? UL is horrible. Most of our societies have fallen apart, there's hardly any interesting people they all dress the same and do the same stuff. All there is to do is go to the stables and "Get Pished". Our good bar closed down. The Stables in town closed down. It's gotten to be a horribly dull place. I don't know why you'd ever want to go there.

UCC at least has better societies, is a bigger college, and is in a much, much better city. There's no soul to Limerick.

Careful now kids. We're not looking for a "My college is better than X college" argument.

Didn't mean to offend, I was just wonderring why you want to go to UL so much over UCC. Is there some problem with UCC absent in UL I should be aware of before transferring?

    Ah right.

Trust me, you wouldn't want to go to UL. The entire social structure there revolves around meeting in one particularly skangerish pub. There are no realy social socities left standing.
