Mottled Teeth

    Hello! :D

Since I was young my front two teeth have always looked strange. It's like they have two white patches on the front which is whiter that the rest. Is just looks odd. I honestly don't know what caused it. Some say it was from using an adult toothpaste when I was younger or a too high intake of fluoride. I really don't know. My dentist doesn't know either.

Basically, my only alternative to getting rid of it (or moreso make it less noticable) is by getting my teeth bleached (whitened). That's what my dentist told me but it's rather expensive and I've heard it can also really damage your teeth as well. But I'm so sick of people always commenting on my poxy teeth! :(

    Any advice people? :(

Bleach em. But my friend had that problemo too, it was because dhe swallowed toothpaste when she was younger or something like that.

Bleaching may improve the situation but there's no absolute guarantee. In terms of harming the teeth, there is indeed some evidence to show repeated aggressive bleaching is detrimental, but controlled use shows no ill-effects.

However, to show signs of damage we're talking about a very small group who are literally "addicted" to bleaching, almost to the point it could be considered obsessive-compulsive behaviour.
