    Hi,

If one has a dispute with a telecomms provider over a bill and the provider is not going to resolve it - specifically, very long duration calls, ie 5 hours, (on a mobile phone FFS !!) - what is the next step? Is there a Telecoms Ombudsman to whom a dispute can be referred?

    Regards,

    Liam

You could try ComReg, assuming they admit they actually are responsible for telecoms.

Call ComReg, but you're wasting your time if you haven't tried to resolve the complaint using the telco's own complaints procedure (which usually involves complaining to some specific person/department, in writing). Back up your complaint with references to dates/names of your correspondance with the telco, and the outcome (if any).
