I wanna join a camera club, but...

1] I dont have an SLR camera

2] There's not many sites with clubs, and the sites that are there arent very useful

3] I'm 18, most clubs seem to have older members only

So, if ye's have any info of Camera clubs, in Dublin, preferably Tallaght, PLEASE let me know!

    Cheers

I have a fairly comprehensive list of Camera Clubs from around the country on my links page http://www.digitalbeginners.ie/links.htm including the Tallaght Photographic Society.

If anyone knows of other clubs not listed please let me know and I'll add them in.

You're in luck, Tallaght have a good photo society and you wont need an slr to start, in fact you're probably better off not having one until you learn a bit more. You might meet another member upgrading their camera and have one to sell.
    See http://www.tallaghtphotographicsociety.com/

digitalbeginner, why dont you contact the Mods here and ask for a banner advert, advertising your site like that is getting annoying

What's annoying is people like you who are willing to advertise companies who don't give of their time and expertise to this forum but want to stop those who do from letting their services be known.

My links page has THE most comprehensive list of Camera Clubs in Ireland, I know because I've visited every club on the list. Now is that something that's of interest to people in this formum or not? It's not like I'm selling cars.

But I suppose if you live near Tallaght then info about a Camera Club in Clonmel is of no use to you. Just remember that a lot of people who read this forum don't come from the Dublin Metropolitan area. This forum is about getting information out about the Photogaphic Community in Ireland so that more people can participate. If you think my posts are getting in the way of that then I must be living in a different world than you.

Might be just as handy to make a sticky out of that list for future reference. DB, if you want to post the list I'll sticky it.
