    Nikon Coolpix 5400 €606 slashed to €199

Now I know a few of you out there don't like using Pixmania but just thought I'd post this pretty good saving.

That seems an excellent deal, the same camera is £259 from Amazon.

Does anybody own one or have any ideas how good it is, the one thing that would bother me is that it looks a bit bulky and the LCD screen is not internal.

I'd like to know more about this.

Any one got the camera? Whats it like.

Just reading a review. Camera is nearly 3 years old. Are they just getting rid of old stock?

    Review

Also how bad are Pixamina to use?

A bit af a disaster for me anyway. Ordered about 12 times from them and 10 of the orders required constant phone calls to see where my stuff was. Items that were instock when ordered actually weren't which resulted in multiple deliveries for the same order, sometimes going on for a month or more.
Problems getting refunds, the list goes on. Gave up using them in the end.
    Komplett all the way. :)

If its that much hassle maybe I might look else where. Thanks for the tip

ive had the complete opposite experience.
have used them 6 times in the past few months and all items were received within the specified delivery time.

    everything trackable

despite hearing mixed reviews I used pixmania for the first time a few months ago and my order arrived in perfect working order within a few days. it seems from other peoples stories that if something does go wrong it can be a nightmare to get sorted out but if youre lucky enough not to have any hassle their service is good

    I'd go for neither.
The Coolpix one is more of a prosumer camera.
The samsung one just looks a bit dud and I wouldn't have much time for them in camera terms.
Although that said I haven't read reviews on either - but I certainly wouldn't compare them to each other.

For a high performing compact camera with excellent battery life, excellent reviews and a new low price,
    try
    http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/92310/art/fuji/finepix-f10.html

Always read reviews of cameras too, search google.
    Also important features
    Image quality, obviously
    Screen size and quality
interface & controls, ease of use
    price
    Battery life
    ^^^
well for me a regular jo camera user :D
