    Hi,

I just checked in online for a Ryanair flight on friday but I remember something in the news a few months ago about this service not working yet in Dublin Airport. Something along the lines of the security staff not agreeing to cooperate??

Has anyone used this facility when flying out of Dublin?

The dispute has been resolved, apparently.

I used this service a week ago on a flight to London. I had printed off the boarding passes and didnt think there would be a problem. However when we were passing through to the departure gates, the guy at security scanned them under a machine, and my boyfriends one wouldnt scan. He then had to go back to the ryanair desk to explain that it wouldnt work. Unfortunately I couldnt go back out because mine was already scanned, and apparently they can only be scanned once. This was a busy Friday evening and I started to get worried about missing the flight as there were long queues going through security. Thankfully we made the flight

The security guy told me that occasionally, so you're best to either avoid using them at peak times, or to simply allow yourself a little extra time in case there is a problem. Id still use the online check in again, buy wouldnt cut it so fine for time!

PS-They didnt charge us for issuing the new boarding card

    Cheers smurfbaby

Although I am quite worried. Its an 8.00am flight on Friday. The 'what look like barcodes' are not very clear on the pages i printed. Hopefully they will work. I suppose I can arrive earlier.
