COD2 Crashes

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them or is it just me, but lately over the last few times I have played Call of duty 2 , it hung either via freezing and the graphics turning into odd coloured squares or the screen going blank. I have been playing multiplayer all times when this has occured.

edit - Just powered it up and I now have a flashing RED light, which cant be good.

was funny in an annoying way , you could see it slowly failing in front of me over a 10 min period. pick up tommorow.
