    Hi,

I've heard from a few mates in the UK that their credit card providers are thinking about charging cash advance fees for money deposited into online gaming accounts (at least one has received a letter from his CC provider saying they will do this).

Just wondering what effect, if any, this will have on participation rates for gaming companies?

If this is true then it will be on the same basis as cash advances at an ATM presumably. This being the case, and if it happens here there is a way around it. Deposit the money from your bank account to your credit card in advance if you are planning to do lodge money. No fee is charged then at an ATM anyhow. If you are are on a rescheduled reload then you better hope you have Neteller with a balance.
