Same as previous show - a few new songs to be introduced since the first show as he is releasing a new expanded version of the cd with a few more songs that were not on the original.
Top class show, not to be missed.

Its a surprise (a good one) that he's coming back so soon..... think I'll head to the Belfast show this time due to it being closer to where I am.... although, if the funds prevail, all three shows may be a possibility. I could do with another Brooooce 'pub lock in!' :D

Anyone know what Ticketmaster's limit per person on tickets is? I heard it is 2, but I'd like to try to get 3 seats together???:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,340 ✭✭✭Nephew

is this likely to sell out in minutes like his last few shows here?

    From aikenpromotions.com:
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide and are limited to four per person.
But, um, is that 4 per show or 2 for each of the point gigs?

All of his shows sell out in minutes, he has the record for it

but he is doing two shows, so there is a good chance you will get tickets for it,

but it will sell out fairly quickly, but with the addition of the Belfast show, less people from up North would come down here to see the gig,

so less stress on the tickets for the Point

but still be there ready on the button before 9am, hope all the Brucie fans can get their tickets, not those lousy touts!...

Miracles do happen. Got through to the phone line first time while I was waiting in a 15 minute queue online for both shows. Got three seats together for the Saturday night. When I got to the front of the queue online there were no seats left so just as well I got through on the phone. I'm a happy man.

They were selling at least 6 per person and possibly more.

This is around 9.40. Bastard.

Third ban? Look folks, there's absolutely no concert ticket sales/swaps/requests allowed on this forum. If you need or want to sell tickets, put an ad up on Adverts, or even give a link to your ad from here if you have to.

11th time to see the man... get's better everytime I see him.. LEGEND!:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 582 ✭✭✭damienom

Amazing show if possibly a tad long.......thought he started to lose the crowd a bit towards the end.

Worth seeing, the album is great but sounds magnificent live.

Loved the folk Atlantic City that he opened with.

Got to Point at about 6 yesterday, got into foyer around 6.15 where we could hear them finishing up the soundcheck - couldn't see much from where we were, but everyone started cheerin and then we heard "yeah, yeah, I hear ya"... great show, didn't come on stage til nearly 8.40, but played straight through til 11.10, was 6 back from stage, damn fine show... Belfast should be a great night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,451 ✭✭✭blastman

Was there last night after getting a ticket earlier in the week. Fantastic concert. How you get 18 people or so not to sound like a noisy mess is beyond me, but they managed it.

Only got a ticket on Sat night for last night's show - it was fantastic. As someone said before the album is good but it is amazing live. It was my first time to see him, I couldn't believe how long he was on stage for...loved every minute of it!!!
