Dell Inspiron 1300 Screen Required

    I have a dell inspiron 1300 laptop with a broken 15.4 screen (about 5 months old), does anyone know somewhere/someone where i can get cheap screens for above. Also does anyone know if another screen may be suitable to this model.

    Ebay have 14" screens but i suppose thats no use to you, they expensive anyways.

    If you not moving arund u could just use a normal desktop monitor

    If you have home insurance it may be covered - some policies will cover accidental damage to computers/appliances etc.

    You might want to check it out and see if it will cover the cost of fixing it - new screen typically costs €700 from dell -- More than the price of some of their whole new laptops.
