I have a quick question about the rent relief form - if I am claiming for last year and this year (under the same landlord) will I need to fill in two seperate forms for 2005 and 2006? Also, what is the GCD? Is it the district number on the certificate of tax credits?

    Thanks!!

I don't think you need two forms unless its two different rented places. You just put the date the residency commenced on the form. You will get a cheque for last year but for this year you will just get the tax credits added to your tax free allowance.

    GCD is General Claims District
