Quick Toyota Parts questions

GF car is missing the jack/wheel brace and spare wheel locking nut for her 01 Yaris.

Wanted original so they would fit nicely into the correct place.

Question is- are all toyota jacks/wheel braces/locking nuts the same? or are they car specific. Scrap yard says he has loads of toyota jacks but left it at that.

I'd imagine they are similar if not identical. Best to check the wheel brace to make sure it fits though. You could ring a Toyota dealer and ask the parts guy - he'll probably know off the top of his head.

Just give your local dealer a ring with the reg number and they will be able to get everything for ya.Try toyota.ie for a list of dealers.

I was going to ring a toyota dealer but didnt want to have to pay a small fortune for a jack and brace. Just wanted an old one from scrap yard- can be only a few quid there.

Pretty much all the Toyota jacks are the same, locking wheel nuts are going to be aftermarket, so you'll have to get them removed. Wheel brace will be different for different models as it clips in to the plastic tray in the boot (under the carpet)
