Don't they go in the green bin along with the aluminium drink cans?

    From the galwaycity.ie website:
    http://www.galwaycity.ie/AllServices/WasteManagement/WheelieBins/GreenBin/

The following is a list of items that MAY be put in the green bin:

Paper, Magazines (Non-Glossy), Newspapers, Telephone Books
    Plastic Bottles and Containers
    Cardboard
    Milk and Juice Cartons
    Empty Food Tins, Drink Cans
NO Glass should be put in the green bin instead it should be brought to a Bring Bank

Actually - has anyone ever seen cardboard or paper recycling containers? I'm on private waste disposal, and it does not feel right to chuck newspapers etc out with the normal rubbish...

    Any ideas?
