West Coast Top Team needs Open Weight Fighter

    Hey guys,
    we are short an open weight competitor for the Next Gen submission grappling event, if anyone is willing to fill it for us or knows someone who might we'd greatly appreciate it!

    Give Barry a few quid for Guinness and in a week he will make the weight. Barry can you tell Vinny I started training at MMAA Minnesota Martial Arts Accademy. www.mmaacombatzone.com. The have several UFC and Pride fighters that train and instruct on a daily basis. They also have a certified conditioning coach that comes in every MMA class and works us over. THe two biggest names you might have heard of Sean Sherk and Nick Thompson the both fight UFC and Sean fights Pride. Sean shows the techniques. The reason I wasn't training here is its a tough place and I wouldn't have survived when I first started. The Jitz is solid more of a wrestling jitz than a flowing Rickson Jitz. They have several BJJ black belts, brown and purples. I'm still at the Cove as well not sure what I'm going to do. They offered me $20 an hour to instruct. I just need to sign the contract. Nick is trying to get me into the cage this Fall. We will see. Adrian I'm still planning on SD this Fall. PBS don't forget to run some sprints at the swamp. I want to see an Irishman on the next TUF.     Tell Sean there are a lot of people looking forward to him dropping to 155 and pounding on "Ken Flo"!!!!

    Scott,

    that sounds great. Sherk is going to be a monster at 155lbs.

    In other news West Coast Top Team has a full team now.
    Either myself or John Walsh will be the open weight representative for the laugh. Whichever of us is too fat for under 75 on the day will do it.

    We worked out last night sparring. I mentioned to Sean that he has a few Irish fans rooting for him against Ken Flo. He seemed to like the fact you guys are pulling for him. Sean is looking good and feeling good already cutting half the weight already. Barry cut the weight and put John in with the big boys. Its not fair you would just demolish them, anyway. :D
