    Hi just need some advice,
recently moved out of an apartment and we have having trouble getting our deposit back, total deposit was 2193 and we have only recieved 1500 of it back, and that was after hounding the landlord to give it to us. We had to keep chasing the landlord leaving messages but getting no returned calls, next minute a guy from the property management company calls saying that he wants to send me a invoice for €360 for getting the carpet in the sitting room cleaned, this is about 3 weeks after we moved out, tried to ring the landlord again and now getting a message saying that he is out of the country for the next week.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had problems like that and how they dealt with it.
    Thanks in advance.

contact threshold/prtb or a solicitor (as a last resort)

you are entitled to your deposit back (in full) as long as you have not caused any undue wear and tear on the place.

That's a worryingly large deposit. Was that one month's rent?
