Sun Holiday Mid October

    My Wife, young son and I are looking to head off weekend of 13th October for a week to get a bit of sunshine.He will only be 6 months so need somewhere that's not very hot (Maybe something mid late 20's).

    looking at Canaries,Majorca

    We have already been to Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.Wondering if anybody could recommend somewhere for in and around €300pp?

    The temperature in the Balearics takes a dip around late September, so Majorca might be ideal and pretty cheap too. Another option is the Algarve.

    Santa Ponsa is a good option, although I've not been there since I was in school. It is family friendly and the beach, while artificial, is perfect. It slopes gently into the sea and iirc doesn't really get waves thanks to the shape of the bay.

    Also the flying time to Majorca would be at least an hour less than flying to the Canaries.

    Looks like we will head to Majorca either to Cala Dor to Cala D'or Park Club or to Tomir Apts in Portlas Nous.

    Anybody any experiences here.Because we are going in Oct I'm just wondering if there would be entertainment for the kids during the day and the adults during the night.If we got a few days sunshine I would be quiet happy
