    Was good while it lasted

    Dear xxxxxxxxx

We regret to inform that Shop the States is closing.

The recent change in office location and start of online membership program came about because Shop the States hired an independent contracting company to process and onward ship member packages. This contracting company informed us today they will be breaking contract.

With much discussion and heavy hearts we have decided to close Shop the States. We have enjoyed providing service to our many members and would like to thank you for your business.

We understand our closing will inconvenience some members. We do apologize for the inconvenience and have listed below instructions for members with pending orders, in transit packages or parcels currently with Shop the States.

Shop the States website has shut down with the exception of online member pages where you can submit shipping quote requests. Access member pages via http://www.shopthestates.com/amember/member.php

Members will be issued refunds for their Shop the States subscription payment by June 30th.

    Kind Regards,

The team @ Shop the States

STS sent out an email recommending this crowd. First impressions is that they are not as good or as cheap as sts

Yeah had alook at them they seem quite expensive , found another company which has a minimum of 3 months subscription at 10 dollars so thats more affordable . Just looking at the company they dont take paypal and want a credit card . Their website does give me great confidence so i'll with hold from giving over my credit card details till I do some more research.

Yeah maybe we can a moderator or something to organize a boards.ie us mailbox and we all chip in a few quid as I see you can get a large one which allows individual accounts on the one mail box . so people can address it to themselves and payfor it themselves. The annual charge would then be shared between boards.ie members.

    Might be worth alook.

No I am doing some research on it now . There would be no need for some one else just the company that you would employ to do ie .. like a virtual office there alot of company doing that service and one of there services is package forwarding . I am gonna see if I can find a crowd that will do like a buying service or something.
