I was going to bid on this until I looked at the sellers feedback. Is this fake feedback left by his friends? Also what are the chances the DVDs are real?

    Thanks

    The feedback looks odd alright...

Personally I would not recommend buying from China or any asian country.

I bought a ring from a seller based in China. It stated the ring was gold. After weeks and weeks of emailing the seller asking where was my item (with no reply) I finally got the ring. It was silver, and not even real silver some kind of metal I don't know but certainly not gold.

Also, this seller had marked their feedback as private, and wouldnt leave me feedback until I left it for them. I left them neutral feedback just stating 'item received eventually - poor service - bad comms'. And instantly they left me positive feedback. It was an automated feedback.

Ive heard of other people having trouble with buying from asian countries. Not a good idea in my opinion.

That ebayer doesnt look up to scratch, maybe send the customer care an email and report it? They are very quick to respond and sorted out my issue very promptly.

    Cheers

Pro: You can pay through PayPal; and the feedback is left public.
    Con: I'm not a racist on eBay - it's a Chinese seller...
    *shrug*
Quality - who knows. Read it carefully "DVD Quality" was off-putting. Ask the seller straight out and keep a copy for any possible future claim.

Apart from the odd looking feedback (and its odd looking because the other feedback is probably in chinese so it is not displaying right) the DVDs are also NTSC not PAL so your DVD player probably wont play them anyway.

I have bought from Ebayers in China and Hong Kong many times without problems. Just make sure to buy from sellers with high feedback (1000+) who have been members for a while.

I would imagine the DVDs are copies - most of the chinese eBayers deal in copied discs. Still, it's a cheap price, and being copies they'll play on anything.

The feedback looks strange because it was not left in a Western font.

Wouldn't touch it! Just looks way too dodgy. Looking at the feedback left for the seller by others what were these people selling?? Babies???

Take the ring to a jewlers, they can quickly check what its made of.

And why did you not leave negative feedback?
It was not as advertised and they were obviously a total pain to deal with.

Hey Gurgle, Yeah, think I will take it to a jewellers this weekend, didnt really think of doing that. I was just so peeved at the long delay in receiving it and then the fact it wasn't what the picture was. Also, all the tooing and froing with the seller didnt put me in great form.

I left neutral feedback as i was afraid if i left neg feedback they would leave me neg feedback. And I certainly didnt deserve neg feedback as i had paid promptly after end of the auction. I was so p'd off with asking them to leave me pos feedback in the end i just gave a neutral.

Hey Bond-007, wise decision I think. Ya never know... I'd be sus anyways. Hope you find them DVD's from another Seller that looks more trustworthy

haha, my girlfriend actually bought a set of those against my advice. Of course they were knock offs, and half the movies had the wrong spelling. Although, delivery was amazingly under 4 days, and the movie quality was perfect. However the packaging is real dodgy, the movies basically come in cd sleaves in that box. I think you were probably right to go with the amazon option.

Unless he sold a baby for 1rmb (http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=75265&item=8409827341) I would says its a scam...
