In view of all the recent developments on the Garden /Diy forum,

with regards to some inferences about my pm contents to the moderators

there, and all the hassle caused. An in order to put distance between this

forum and any overspill from the controversy caused their, I have decided to

cease being a moderator here. As I feel that " references to "pm's of mine have been wrongly

posted , and the thread locked , leaves me with no chance to reply.

I am not sure about the proper procedure, of selecting a new mod,

but no doubt Karltimber can find out , and help anyone that is interested.

I think this is the best choice for the integrity of the forum.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Kadman, while I totally respect where you are coming from, why don't you hang on for a while. I've a funny feeling that a lot of the questions that would have previously been asked on DIY might find their way over here. (only if they are relevant to woodwork obviously) Might get a tad busy for karltimber on his own;)

    Well thats a thought,

But if the general feeling was that it would be better for me not to be a mod here, I would respect this forums wishes.

If any of you want to pm Karltimber with your thoughts on it. He can convey the general feeling of this forum to me by pm.

I am quite happy to go along with you guys decision. You lot have earned my respect in that regard.

I,ll leave it up to you lot then.

I for one - would like Kadman to stay as is.

I have not seen any issues on this Woodcraft forum that would indicate that anyone is out of order.

If folks would like to send me a pm with their general feelings/wishes, I will convey them here at the weekend, and based on Kadmans help since this particular Woodcraft section was started, I know the general feeling will be similar to mine.

Having a poll or vote etc will not work or is not needed.

These forums exists because knowledgeable folks like to share their wisedom and also learn from other peoples queries & problems.

    Thx
    Karltimber.
