Just saw some fella walk into the Queen Vic and give praise to David Beckham. Martin Fowler then goes on to say he's looking forward to Portugal, if they've any players left! Similar thing happened last week. Minty and Gary giving each other high fives over Cole and Gerrards goals v Sweden. Just think it's weird that they shoot this one scene to make Eastenders look real. Has it happened in any other soaps?
Eastenders have a tradition of doing that sort of thing, when Princess Di died they managed to lever in a quick scene which noted it had happened. I've not seen any other soap do it though.
