PCMCIA PC use question

I have a handful of PCMCIA cards (wireless card, usb ports, etc) that I used on my laptop and I'm wondering if they're any use to me now I'm on a desktop...
Are there any PCMCIA-PCI or USB/Firewire adaptors out there that I can put into my PC and use the cards now, or are they only workable on laptops?

Just out of interest, if they're no use to me I'd just sell them on.

That looks like just the job, any time I googled for something I just got different PCMCIA cards... many thanks for that... bit of a price on it all the same, but I'll take note!
