    Hi Folks,
I am looking at a Golf Cabriolet. Are these as good mechanically as their steel roofed brothers?

Also what should I be looking for?

I am looking at cars from 98 onwards.

    Thanks in advance.

The 98 on Golf Cabrio, although it looks like a Mk4, is actually a Mk3 (previous generation) Golf with the front lights & some interior fittings from the Mk4.

Some bizzarely low specs available too.
