Was looking at Feelin Irie running in the 3pm at Muss. Course and distance winner and only beaten by a head here in May after pulling hard in the final furlong to finish behind Jordans Light and a length and a half ahead of Linton Dancer who is running today. (Linton Dancer had RWinston on board but Holland may bring around some improvement. Apache Nation seems to be keenly fancied to romp home so small stakes Feelin Irie each way just for interest ... then again wth do I know :(

    EDIT:
Just noticed Strides of Fire is also running at 19.30 in Kilbeggan. After being tipped here by someone else when it won last time out I guess I owe it a little loyalty.

    Someone else:rolleyes:

    Anyway...

Strides of Fire is running in the 7:30 at Kilbeggan and the message is that it will be put up 10 pounds after tonight....

    A probable win so...

Pity my selection didnt hold it in the last furlong but had it each way thankfully.

Barrons horses romping home at Muss. although not sure what his runner in the last is like.

Have to admit I'm quite disappointed with Strides of Fire's performance tonight. It was out to win last thursday evening etc but it was expected that the horse would notch a couple of wins under his belt this summer. Maybe they sent him out again too soon.

Thank goodness I only lost 40 quid. Pathetic performance.

Steady on there. This horse won quite a few shillings for some of us on Thursday night and even how it won on Thursday gave the impression that it could do the business again tonight. I wasn't sure myself last night as I hadn't heard anything and I consulted with one of the lads on here and we discussed it etc. I made a call this morning and it seemed confidence was high. Drifted on track though and went down hill after that. Embarrassing for myself of course but these things happen in Racing. There are many people who choose to never listen to tips. There are people who take a tip, check it out for themselves and then decide. And then there's you.

It think we knew it's faith after the on course drift, he was under pressure a long way out.

One thing I almost overlooked was the jockey change, instead of having the very decent Robbie Molloy taking 5lb off Gareth Cotter took the ride which meant in effect he has carrying 11lb more than the previous win. They also went a furlong less on faster ground which judging by the way Strides of Fire was pullung clear last week may have been on the sharp side.

Wouldnt have even justified that comment with a response Fade.

The distance was my only concern last night to be honest (before the drift), confidence really was that high. In hindsight thiough, a hike up the weights and opposition after only 4 days is a lot to ask.

he's still a good horse, looked poor last night though... Technically it was Genco's tip last night :D All tips here are voluntary and if you listen to them your not guranteed a win. Enough said...
