is there any channel on Hotbird or Astra covering the World Series of Poker 06...I know ESPN cover it and Player/Challenge do an edited show that will be played later in the year but was hoping there might be a daily round up show or something on one of the channels

    thanks

In the US, ESPN only have their highlights show starting 12 days after the main event ends, and the only way you can watch the main event live is on pay-per-view - check out this link for details: http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_news/news_story/1100?class=PokerNews

Last year, PokerZone (channel 843 on Sky) had a daily news show but no action - I'd say with Poker Channel, PokerZone, Player and increased coverage on Sky, there's likely to be more news this year, but doubtful that coverage will be extensive when it's actually on.
