Anyone know if all Xtravision stores have this going on? I was quoted 100 quid for a second hand DS in Gamestop yesterday!

Well I know its in Clondalkin cos I have to return my one later. It might be the ones that actually have an XtraGame store instore if you get what I mean!!

Yeah I rang the manager earlier. Its holding the image on the touch screen well after its turned off so they said they will replace it no bothers cos they have a few there!!

I think they are making another big advertising attempt at the 2nd game market recently, so maybe second hand DS consoles are a result of that, but prior to that I know Xtra did not sell pre-owned consoles...

nyone else see any DS's for 40 yo-yo's anywhere. That sounds like an error in pricing to me

Well Xtra-Game in the Square Tallaght always sold preowned consoles and still do!!
I was in there trying to replace my one last night and they still have boxes on the shelf marked €39.99 Pre-owned and say that its a result of the lite coming out!!

@GStormcrow, they have the DS Lite in stock!!

madness - seeing as how Gamestop gave me €70 off a new DS lite when I traded in my old ds yesterday. It would be wise for anyone buying a DS lite to buy a 2nd hand one off Xtravision first and save yourself €30.

Well I was in Xtra Game in the square last night and they had a good few preowned DS's @ €39.99 so there is no shortage there if anyone is looking for one!!

Any Xtra-vision in Munster that sell these? - would be tempted to head up to Dublin but the train ticket is 45 yo yos so would be paying 85 in total!:eek:

They have them advertised still in Clondalkin with the boxes on the shelf but none in stock.
None of the other XtraVisions I tried have them either, though they said the one in the Square has some left.

Well most of the Xtra vision staff I spoke to on the phone thought I was mad to be asking about 2nd hand consoles. Rang most of the west Dublin stores and found not a one!

I rang a few last night cos one of the lads is looking for one but there are none around!! Alot of their stores won't stock second hand machines but the ones that will are the ones that have a sign on the window offering the DS Lite for 99.99 when you trade in your old DS. Clondalkin had some and the square in tallaght had some but are all out of stock!!

They still have them for €40 in xtra-vision in Ennis.I picked one up the other day.

I got one in xtravision Bray today (wed 5th July) at 39.95
when i rang in the morning she said she had three
so i guess they might have 2 now !!

Its a great price for the machine in all fairness considering everywhere else is 99.99 second hand!!
