I've gotten used to them so they don't bother me that much. I wonder how many breaks the American have to put up with...

    Nope.

That was the whole point of the format of the show originally - it was built around the ad breaks so the characters have time to drive from A to B or use the jacks or whatever.

    It's a ~5min break every 7-10 mins.

If you have the shows on DVD, the breaks are even in them - the format of the show is such that it's not possible to "remove" the breaks which are inserted for the American audience, who incidentally like their ad breaks.
Sky, of course will capitalise on this and cram in as much advertising as they can.

Has anyone seen their new sunday goodbye crap?

On the version with Audrey, it looks like she is having an orgasm on the last cut. :)

Its more to do with them cutting in on the end of programmes with their "thanks Jack for not breaking", "goodbye Audrey".

They are doing the same for the Malcom in the middle.

Sky really go overbored in the ads department. Remember the Ricky Gervais in the simpsons.

They are even now doing it on the movie channels. The sliding action and "Click for layercake....Click for dodgeball" Sky by broadband sh1te.
