    6 Handed PLO Hand

I'm dealt AhAcThTs in the cutoff. 2 Limpers and I raise to 16.

The BB is the lone caller.

    Stacks: Me - 600, BB - 500

I have no notes on the BB at all, other than he raises or reraises in position regardless of his cards.

    Flop (42)

    T 9 8 rainbow, no clubs.

He checks, I check behind - Should I bet here?

    Turn (42)

    3c completing the rainbow.

Again he checks and I bet 30. He raises to 100. I call.

    River (242)

    As

    He leads for 240.

    And I?

Wish you could use 3 cards out of your hand in Omaha:)

You have no more info than this? How is the table in general, loose and gambly or ABC and sensible?
Given that it's 6max I think I just call the river. I would bet the pot on the flop.

I have only played 3 orbits at the table and there have been very few showdowns. Table seems quite sensible, but this guy has definitely been the most aggressive. The few hands he's showndown have been winners.

    I fold the river here.

What does this mean? Did you make the note after seeing him limp reraise 2589r once, or does it mean he is a total maniac who just for this hand slowed down a little?

I take your line against an unknown, and fold the river. Against a maniac I bet the flop and call the river as played.

I've played with him briefly a few times. Basically he raises and reraises from the button and cutoff regularly with a large range from 239T to AAxx to 5JQK. He certainly isn't a maniac but he ain't Joe ABC either.

sorry somehow I read "regardless of position" into what you wrote. Then I fold the river and play the hand the same way. Sometimes I would bet the flop.

Well I eventually folded and he showed KKQJ. I think checking the flop saves me money against hands like 9TJQ or 5678 etc, but I'm not sure what the best line is.

    Ian,
it only saves you money, if you are going to call the raises and pot bets on later streets with no odds !!!!!

    :).

    You played it fine.

I don't get this, I would say it saves you money if he has QJ and you were going to fold to a check raise if you bet, because sometimes the free card fills you up.

Well he bet the turn, and called a check raise (albeit a small one), so if that happened on the flop, and he folded to the turn pot, then he would lose precisely the same amount of $$$.

    N'est pas?
