Folder Access Question

    I asked this before, but I can't find the old thread as it was months and months ago...

    Basically I reinstalled XP on my computer months ago. There used to be a big 40gig folder under my name which was password protected.

    So I reinstall XP, fresh install. But lo and behold, when I check my hard drive, there's 40gigs missing. My old folder "David" is still there under all users but clicking on it says access denied. Trying to log in as administrator does not work .

    Any suggestions as to how I'd either delete this 40gigs or even get the stuff back? I know its all still there as when my virus scanner was running, it scanned the folder and I could see the list of all my stuff....
