    hi

I wonder can you help me - we have sky (normal one) I want to be able to connect it to the telly upstairs (i know i would have to watch what is on downstairs but i would still like it). The house seems to have telly points in every room is there a way of linking these to the sky box downstairs.

any help would be greatly appreciated

This should solve ur problem and without the need for any extra cables, does it all wirelessly:

It depends on how things are wired currently

I'm presuming you have roof aerial connected to all the telly points in the house.

To get sky in the other room you need some way of connecting the RF2 Port on the back of the sky box to the telly in the other room.

There are several methods of doing this - the easier method being purchasing a video sender to send the signal wirelessly to the other telly - depending on which one you purchase you may also be able to control the sky box by taking the remote to the other room or purchasing another one

and the other method would be...
Connect the roof aerial directly to the rf input on the sky box and run cable from the rf2 port back up to the attic and connect to an amplifier and connect the other tv's to the amplifier too. Hence you would have the standard tv channels and the sky channel the is currently being watched in every room in the house. - You could connect those slx link things that were mentioned earlier by construct06 to control the sky box from the other rooms - they simpy plug into the back of the telly and the cable plugs into they and you put the little Reciver bit on top of the telly

    Hope this helps
