Chorus Digital in Sallins

Anyone know how good Chorus Digital is in Sallins? Reason I ask is that whilst I have Sky, and would like Sky+ multiroom, Sky are insisting that both boxes have the phone link. I'm not keen on this for reason of the wires, one of which would have to stretch for 50 feet or so to where the box currently is. I told them that I've never had the phone link, but they are not backing down even in the face of a threat to cancel altogether.

I am now looking at the option of Chorus Digital and the Sky box for the FTA channnels. Before doing anything, does anyone know how good Chorus Digital is in my area?

    Many Thanks.

Its OK, but not great. The picture quality is not what you would have been used to with Sky and only a few of the channels are shown in actual widescreen format. There are the occaisonal outages in service, but these are not as regular as they were a few years ago. You also only get about 60 channels, but that includes UTV and channel 4.

mid-north Kildare. Between Naas and Clane (and hence between Naas and Maynooth if you only extend to "big towns")
