    So, I'm new to the whole gig photography thing so any help and comments etc would be greatly appreciated. these were taken at the Irish Emergenza Final last night. This Band are called The Fighting. Thanks alot for looking.

    i really like these, well done. I find alot of these type shots are too busy and saturated. Have to agree with conmike, colours are spot on. Well done!

    Thanks alot guys. I had a cold and watery eyes when i took these.. maybe i should try make my eyes water more often!! ;)

    They look great, ive always struggled with club/gig photos....

    They look great, ive always struggled with club/gig photos....

    Canon 350D, Canon 50mm 1.8 lens, all taken at ISO 400, shutter 1/50 and aperture 1.8. No flash.
    It was my third gig and after learning from my mistakes in the first two I think I got things right this time. Plus, it was in Vicar Street and the Lighting was quite nice.

    The only criticism I can think is that the third one could maybe be cropped tighter on the left - all fine shots. Cool light and sharpness. Might be worthwhile to try the first and third one in start black and white too - (just an idea).
