Musicians Required

Hi All,

Looking to set up a rock band, to play GnR style of music. Not looking for anything too serious to start with, interested in just jamming for a while(Guns N Roses covers) and then see how it takes from there. Would eventually like to do originals and start doing some gigs.

So the main purpose of this would be to get some good musicians together to jam, have a good time and if everyone gels well, start doing some gigs!!

I'm 25 myself and have been playing the guitar for 11 years, Live in Kilcoole in Wicklow(bout 15 mins from bray for anyone who doesn't know where it is)
Would be looking to get interest from people in the local area(anywhere from Kilcoole to shankill).
Would require;
Bass Player
Guitarist
Drummer
Vocalist.

Dude of course I plan on doing something, why place an add!!
I have just been in bands were peoples pre-conceptions of themsleves have caused friction in the band, which is why I have posted an add looking for a more relaxed environment!!

Aw man that band sounds like just my thing but i'm living in inchicore (without a car) so it'd prob be a logistical nightmare!!! If you're ever expanding your geographical field i'm a rythym guitarist and gnr covers wise (i use the term gnr loosely!) i'd love to do 'aint life grand' (snakepit). i also love to play old style rhcp, audioslave, soundgarden, alice in chains, pearl jam, etc.

oh well...:(

No way, all the bands you mentioned are pretty much what I'm into, its a pity you are in inchicore, sounds like we could have had a good old jam, travelling for either of us would be a pain, but keep an eye on this thread, if there is anymore interest we might be able to work something out!!
