    Can anyone tell me what is the rough cost of a service these days.
    Does anyone know about the advance pitstop services?
    I want it done properly but is it going to cost me a small fortune?!
    Lots of local machanics won't fill out history book?! Why is this?!
    Any suggestions most welcome.
    I drive a VW in South Dublin.

    Approx €150-200 at a 'back street' garage provided there is no major work required.

    (I've never met a mechanic who refused to stamp the service history!!)
