    HEXHAM
Bollin Thomas runs in the 2.20. I'm a jinx with this horse. I missed it when it won at 8/1 on May 1st, and I'm determined to follow it until it wins at a nice price again. It was second last time out but I didn't back it because of the price. It's top weight today and it has to beat Dune Raider who is also top weight with it. This is a big ask, and I expect these two to be in the top two. I might do my usual cover-my-ass forecast on Dune Raider 1st Bollin Thomas 2nd as well. Bollin Thomas won a class 3 last August in Epsom, so it's capable of winning today. Both distance and going are not a problem either. If it wins today I will be delighted

I like the look of Agnese in the 2.50. Has only had a couple of starts since changing trainer so I expect to see improvement from this horse today. Hasn't been doing too badly and if it can come on from it's last run it should be a strong contender.

I'm leaving out the next race because I'm not backing the favourite at 4/9, even though it should win easily.

Finest of Men is well used to this distance and going. It hasn't really taken to the Hexham course yet which is why it's 10/1, and at that price I have to snatch it up. It did well in it's last two outings and should be in the placings.

Megaton will take all the beating in the 4.20 today. As at the races says, the yard are firing nicely and AP is on board. The horse has lovely form and has shown that today's distance, trip and class are well within it's ability.

It's only a matter of time before Dunguaire Lady gets a win. It has finished in the top four in it's last four starts and admitedly is up against it today but is very likely to place. Current odds are 4/1, which is very small e/w value. won @ 11/4

Both Hello Roberto and Nina Fontenail should be worth following at Warwick. I wrote up a lenghty discussion about both of them and firefox decided to crash, so I'm not doing that again!

I agree with ya on Bollin Thomas...there's been a lot of rain at hexham and it's best to side with horses there today who have won or placed on the soft. Off the top of my head (from looking this morning) I don't think Dune Raider has won on soft.

I like Al Mabrook in the 2:50 for that reason also.

    For an interest:

    Some others to look at

    Ponty
    310 Flying Clarets
340 Aflie Flits > Strong sort, has pace finishes well, small field NAP
410 Kayf Armis >Up again in class, bottom weight form of his(her?) life progressive sort, no major dangers on the card NB
510 Mr Cellophane should place if higher than 8's e/w if not little squek for a win.

325 Saint Cloud HURRICANE RUN is running (ahem) :D should go down a storm :D
......eh i'l get my coat :D

Wheres teh Sizzler to give an inside track .... K Burke has some runners at Pontefract.

Hoping for a feelgood factor today as I landed Young Mick yesterday then stuck the winnings on the Argies to win :( Will be on Bollin Thomas, Hello Roberto and Megaton and laying Yes Sir since I always lose when I back it.

Don't think the Sizzler has inside info on K. Burke's horses...I think he just follows them and has a good knack for knowing which ones are primed for a big run. Have a look yourself at the horse's form under similar conditions/weight etc and go from there.

Was hoping Sizzler was around to save me some time ;) I have been following his KB tips and threads and he has a great knack of spotting the occasional winner at great prices.

Guess its nose to the Grindstone for meh

Sizzler always seems to tip Karl Burkes 2 year olds, there was an 8/1 winner in the 2.10 at Pontrefract Precocious Star so take of that what you will!

Sorry for the late appearance guys...not much use telling you now that me aul mate Karl won the first and last races at Pontrefract at 8/1 and 9/2 !

Hope someone had the conviction to back at least one of them, hes been a bit indifferent of late but these two lads seemed good for places but did a bit better than that today.

Will keep an eye on his runners this week and do my best to get my fancies posted!

Might also have a nice tip for everybody at the curragh this fri night, fingers crossed ;)

Tks a mil Sizzler, missed out on the first in Pontefract but stuck 20 each way on the last in Pontefract .... would NEVER have done it without your previous threads. Also had a few €€€ on Portugal that I hedged at half time. Down marginally for the day but could have been a LOT WORSE.
