ok i got my new build parts home safe and sound but am stuck... i cant build it fully. i was able to add in the usual... ram, intel chip, grapics card, hd, dvd etc etc.

but i havent a clue what to do next. i cant figure out where to attatch all the cables. all the instructions are in chinese and i have tried to connect what i can figure out and have looked online but to no avail.

    this is what i have:

samsung 19" widescreen lcd syncmaster 940bw
    asus P5LD2 DELUXE motherbaord
    asus EAX1600PRO graphics card 512mb
    2 x 1gb sticks of RAM
    Intel Pentium D 930
    samsung dual layer dvd writer
    seagate 300gb hd
    seagate 200gb hd
    external memcard reader
    standard webcam

and i am trying to connect this:

    asus P5LD2 DELUXE motherbaord

    to this:

    NZXT LEXA Black Aluminium Chassi

can anyone please point me to some instructions or if anyone knows how to do it could they please explain as i cant wait to get this up and running.

also when its finished do i have to install bios or do i just go ahead and install windows?

    thanks for the help

    pdf manuals here no?
    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P5LD2%20Deluxe&SLanguage=en-us

And just install windows... the bios should already be there unless there is something seriously wrong :D

OK , here is your motherboard manual for download , in English ,

    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5LD2%20Deluxe

The chassis connections you have will be labelled on the plastic connectors , just go to the relevant page in the manual and follow the instructions, should be a piece of cake.
Panel/Chassis connections are on page 58 ( pdf page number not print page number )

All the rest of the connections are also in the manual for hard drives etc.

Well as andy pointed out, there should be little labels on the front panel wires/connectors which you can match up to the diagrams in the mobo manual... at least you're half way there :p

Well whaddya know there is a manual for the case as well , its here ,

    http://www.nzxt.com/Download/lexaManual.pdf

Anyway all it says for the chassis connections is to refer to your motherboard manual and attach the " Labelled " connections to the corresponding connections on the motherboard.

leave webcam, cables ,memorycard cables disconnected for the moment,, make sure you get motherboard, powercables, sound, power , reset, plugged in the right way around, look for connector nos, small on mobo, and cable, look at cable colors, ide, cables to hardrives, cdrom/dvdrom,go the red stripe side cable is closeset to the power cable.red stripe approx an inch from cd/hd power cable.take it really slow.i think power cable to motherboard can only go in one way anyway.
