Who calls here, both haven't been at the table long enough for any meaningful reads bar the PT stats below (over about 50 hands or so each at the time the hand happened) and also coupled with the fact that I'd never played with either before??

I had been playing quite tight and I'd have a solid reputation at the table ...

Anyway here's the HH, PokerRoom $1/$2 Cash Game

    [EDIT: I have Q6h]

    Seat 1: bum11 ($34.60 in chips)
    Seat 2: checkfold31 ($215.40 in chips)
Seat 3: DRican ($134 in chips) PT STATS: VPiP 23/ PFA 2.6
Seat 4: HERO ($380.40 in chips)
    Seat 5: cardhawk1. ($182 in chips)
    Seat 6: tiny333 ($181.20 in chips)
    Seat 7: bludes187 ($153 in chips)
Seat 8: johnwheat ($108.40 in chips) PT STATS: VPiP 37/ PFA 11
    Seat 9: CksN2Csh ($191.80 in chips)
    Seat 10: abe1952 ($201 in chips)

    ANTES/BLINDS
DRican posts blind ($1), HERO posts blind ($2).

    PRE-FLOP
    cardhawk1. calls $2, tiny333 folds, bludes187 calls $2, johnwheat calls $2, 4 folds, DRican calls $1, HERO checks.

    FLOP [board cards 5D,4H,3H ] Pot $10
DRican checks, HERO bets $5, cardhawk1. folds, bludes187 folds, johnwheat calls $5, DRican bets $15, HERO calls $10, johnwheat calls $10.

    TURN [board cards 5D,4H,3H,9H ] Pot $55
DRican bets $15, HERO calls $15, johnwheat bets $91.40 and is all-in, DRican bets $102 and is all-in, [Pot ~$250] HERO?????

Do they deal any hole cards on pokerroom?

LOL, ye I actually had to go to PT to get my exact hole cards, cos they don't have them...:confused:

I always go broke with a flush at that level.

really? Even if you are probably beaten I call anyway. But there are so many hands that you beat.

I know this is only 1-2 but with that action and the way it panned out I just think a Q-high flush can't be good. I would be very surprised if it was. Neither player has shown any realy strength until the flush card hit so it would seem highly probable that they both have a flush. Q-high could be good but I doubt it.

    call 85 to win 270.
Only have to be good 25% of the time.
Q-high flush is surely good that often.

Many combos of stupidheads with str8/2pair/set/lowerflush.

hmm you make a good point. I think the difference between calling and folding is marginal but I lean towards folding still even though I'm a total calling station.

I'd call for the same reason. The Lady in red is going to be good enough some of the time.

Hmmm, more calls there than I expected, I thought that with the first guy pushing, and the other guy pushing too, I just couldn't see one of these guys not having either Axh or Kxh.... And so like a pussy I folded....

The reason I posted the hand was for 2 reasons
    (1) Obviously to see whether as played I should have called; and
    (2) Opinions on the turn smooth call, should I have re-raised, I personally don't think I should have as in that case surely the only hand that will call me are Axh or Kxh, therefore minimising my potential winnings and maximising my potential losses..., but this hand was really annoying me...

The results anyway were quite amazing TBH, DRican had A2c  and amazingly the other guy had 4sJh , so I would have had them both drawing dead....

call 100% of the time in a cash game, probably folding in a decent tourney.

In a tourney theres almost no way we'd be deep enough to get away from it.

Reminds me a wee bit of:

    http://www.blondepoker.com/index.php?q=node/2825

Just a different outcome. i'd be more likely to call in a tourney

these sticky flush situations are tough and really player dependant. No chance in hell I'm calling mr rock and I'd call mr maniac like lightning. I'd be inclined to fold there given the action. Looks like someone really made a better hand given how it played out. If I called it I'd be biting my tongue, expecting to see a higher flush more often than not with that kind of action in front of me.
